Quicken 2006 Home & Business Edition
I have Quicken 2006 on my staff, I have used to install many times before in the computer people. No no problem. Now I'm leaving today one of the customers and has 2,002 programs and wants an update. I get an error mssg. declaring. dll missing. How can this be? If these two incompatible or something? Yes, I do have the certification to make this pre-installed on more than one computer. It has also been uninstalled software before installing each other.
For starters, Quicken will only be allowed to run on a computer. Unless you have a special license could be violating its license agreement (piracy). I'm not entirely sure, but I think that each facility will also be reporting back to Quicken. To answer your question, Quicken has an upgrade path for which supplies a special edition upgrade. It seems that your program is a full version for what you are trying to do a full installation. Mixing old and new is not a good idea. You have to uninstall before installing 2003 to 2006.
